Solo & Styling
Dance Levels

All our solo and styling classes share the same 3-level system – focused on individual expression, body movement and personal style.

Your Journey - 3 Levels

BEGINNER

1

Level 1 - Foundations

Starting from zero

Body awareness, posture, basic isolations and the fundamental movement vocabulary of your chosen style. We focus on feeling the music and learning to express yourself through movement – no prior dance experience required.

2

Level 2 - Building Expression

Some experience

Fluidity, coordination and musicality deepen. We introduce more complex movement sequences and begin developing your personal style. You’ll start to feel more confident and expressive on the floor.

3

Level 3 - Advanced Expression

Advanced

Complex combinations, performance quality and full creative ownership of your movement. Focus shifts to improvisation, stage presence and making every class a genuine artistic experience.

Common questions about levels

How long does each level take?

There's no fixed timeline — it depends on the group's collective pace and the learning year. The whole group progresses together, so you move up naturally without needing to do anything. Your instructor will advance the level when the group is ready.

Who decides when I'm ready to move up?

Your instructor does — based on the group's overall progress, not individual assessment. Everyone in the class moves up together, so there's no personal test or evaluation. Just show up, enjoy it, and your level will evolve with your group.

Can I join a level that's already started?

It depends on where the group is in their progression. Contact us and we'll let you know whether joining mid-way makes sense — we'll always find the best option for you.

What if I have experience in another dance style?

It often helps with body awareness and rhythm. We still recommend starting with a free trial so your instructor can confirm the right level for you within our curriculum.

Do I need to be enrolled in a bachata class too?

Not at all. Our solo and styling classes are completely standalone — open to anyone who wants to develop their individual movement and expression, regardless of their partner dance experience.
